Jims Sci Fi Stories

Ok, so I've asserted that one of my sideline activities is writing science fiction ... even at times "predictive fiction" (fairly near term, hard sci fi).
And realistically, unlike my daughter, I do not hope to become a best selling author (if you saw how much work that is, well beyond just writing good stories), you would see the wisdom of my choice.  Ergo I figure I might put some of my pieces up on the web. ... Who knows, maybe I will stick up a "donations" box for folks to express their gratitude. -- for now, a few free examples perhaps.

  • "Mort d' Gaea"  (epub format below)- A view on the potential for immortality and the future of mankind -- and a remake of Oedipus Rex (see epub download link below)
  • "Transcript for June 15, 2063 IEEE Awards Ceremony"; (PDF) August 2013 Proceedings of the IEEE (Honorable Mention in their contest)
Not all of my writing has been SciFi, inspired by a local publication, "New Hampshire Pulp Fiction" I've published two stories in their annual anthologies:
